Cadillac's return to Michigan was no surprise

VW will cover some costs of hardware retrofits for diesel cars in Germany, minister says

Volkswagen Group has agreed to cover about two thirds of the costs for hardware retrofits of some diesel cars, German Transport Minister Andreas Scheuer said on Monday, ahead of a government meeting on the matter.

French sales slip 13% in September on WLTP

New-car registrations in France fell 13 percent in September as the market continued to be affected by the EU's WLTP test. The slowdown came after sales soared in July and August ahead of WLTP rules taking effect Sept. 1.
