W. European sales rise 27% in Aug. ahead of WTLP changeover
Western European car sales surged 27 percent in August as manufacturers discounted heavily to clear stocks before WLTP vehicle-testing rules came into effect on Sep. 1, according to market analysts LMC Automotive.
