Hinrich Woebcken hatches plan to Americanize VW brand

Forty years ago, Volkswagen Group of America's Hinrich Woebcken spent a year as a high school exchange student in New York. Now he's drawing on that past in the latest effort to fashion the company as American -- at least in spirit.
